Inspired by open spaces, empty places, love, lust, sinners, dreamers, nightmares and emotional entanglements, Josie Jette fuses lyrics and melody to create catchy tunes that dive into and get lost in the maze of your mind for days, searing your synapses to become part of your brain waves. She writes like fireworks, exploding in bursts of colour and energy, with lyrics as scorching as they are pretty.

Sound-wise Josie is best described as a smash-up of alternative and punk rock, with a splash of glitter and glam (because, why the f*ck not?), and is often likened to powerhouse vocalists and songwriters such as PJ Harvey and Courtney Love .
